Rozel Bay
Rozel Bay is a small beach and harbour quietly tucked away on the north coast of Jersey. Initially built for local oyster fishermen, the harbour is now home to a mix of small fishing and leisure boats. At mid to high tide, the bay is a pleasant and safe place to take a dip.
WHERE TO EAT
A local institution, The Hungry Man on the pier, is a popular kiosk cafe for tea and bacon butties, and crab sandwiches are reliably good.
The Rozel Pub & Dining is a nice gastropub with a local feel, just a stone’s throw from the bay and conveniently right next to the bus stop.
HOTELS IN ROZEL BAY
The only hotel in Rozel is a short stroll up the hill from the bay. Chateau La Chaire is a charming old country hotel with a good restaurant.
GETTING TO ROZEL BAY
Despite being, by local standards, a little remote, Rozel is well served by a bus route from town.
